Had the same problem. The solution was:
- uninstall the brother software with the application in the brother folder
restart PC
- reinstall mfl-pro Suite
restart pc
- install update to Controlcenter2
- install updated drivers
It then worked and I could finally scan over the network, for the first time ever!
Your problem is very simple..Try this..first right-click mycomputer
go to->properties->hardware->device manager->just right click on the device u want to uninstall and click->uninstall(u can also hit delete after clciking on the device)..it will ask for a confirmation and say yes
If you cant uninstall the software it is probably a problem with the registry which you can fix with any registry fixing tool like registry cleaner can fix it.Do this and try uninstalling again!
