Question about iLO 2600 Television

1 Answer

COLOR BLEEDING After my ILO 2600 HDTV has been on for about an hour, the color saturation increases to the point the colors bleed profusely and the entire picture becomes blobby. The tv has worked fine for about 7 months now, and still works fine when it's turned on. Problem only occurs after about an hour or so after being left on. Ideas?

I have a Samsung 40 inch that is just over 1 year old with the same problem. After TV is on for a while, color bleeds. If I turn the set off for about 30 seconds, then turn back on, it goes away. Intermittent issue.

Thats A 26" LCD tv sets thats sold mostly by walley world. The problem you describe is most likly the sustain voltage on the LCD screen has a bad capacitor in the power supply circuit that supplies that voltage to the driver board. If you still have a warranty Take it in or hopefully you bought an extended warranty with the set. Good Luck.

Use Epson Photo Paper, and set your printer to "best" quality.
I could help you better if you would:
1. give model of printer
2. tell me what paper you're using
3. what the problem is with your photos.

The color is distorted and the picture blinks. I've replaced the lamp twice before and i don't think this is a lamp problem.

color distortion (bleeding colors, or overwhelming of one color)on these tv's is commonly the optical engine. that might make it unecinomical to repair

The color is bleeding and the adjust arrows wont

You have a few choices. You can try to fix it yourself or get a shop to fix it.

It is called a convergence problem.

Color is messed up on 42" ILO LG HD

I own a 26inch, I may not see a Green and Red option but if you have the remote you can select TV MENU; from there you can use the down arrow to the bottom portion and you can also choose to do a factory reset if that helps. Otherwise at the top part theres a way to customize all; brightness, saturation, etc under picture choose Custom
