SOURCE: Need Micro innovations OPM-602 manual.

I got one at a garage sale for a buck. Came here for a solution, but still couldn't get it open. I figured it out by breaking it!. Bad for me, good for you. I pried off the black cover and broke off a little tab. I'll explain how it works. Behind the two buttons there is a silver half oval. When you push down on the end of that half oval that's the farthest away from the mouse wheel, it pushes down on a little tab that is part of the black cover, and lets that tab clear a piece of plastic that it clips under. I broke off that tab by prying it. So, push down hard on the END of that little half oval and at the same time slide the black cover back. The mouse uses two AAA batteries. Good luck. That's the solution. Guaranteed!

SOURCE: need battery size and how to open it up without breaking it. I have no manual.

AAs and the end (top where you normally hold it ) just slides back towards the rear. and do the following to reconnect ...(you might as well change the batteries a this time as well)
This is sort of general but it just may help.
Make sure your batteries are in correctly.
Make sure the transmitter dongle is in the USB.
Look on the transmitter, the mouse and keyboard itself (bottom) for a little tiny button that says connect or reconnect. Move the mouse about six inches away from the transmitter and press both the transmitter and the mouse.
That should reestablish the signal twixt the two.(or three KB)

How to connect a microsoft mouse to a microsoft 1447 dongle

The thw wireless mouse is paired from fabric wirh USB dongle for same mouse. You can't connect a wireless keyboard to it because they are no different frequency. Actually it's hightly improbable that you even could connect the USB dongle of a mouse with another different mouse. Explanations is logical: presumeyou are in a big office whate another 1 users have wireless keyboards or "mice". Now, imaginge the mess if the dongle of your keyboard should control the mouse of another 9 usrs.
Now, it's competely different with bloetooth keyboards and"mice"

Mouse battery died.

Normal 0 If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open on the bottom, then try this.
Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the batteries.
Hope this helps. Bud
