Camera deletes my images

When i take pictures with my Vivitar digital camera the images will stay there for a couple weeks or so, and then they will disapear, and sometimes come back later. Is there anyway to recover them without having to wait for them to maybe come up again?

Hello Cindy, i suggest to take backup of your photos regularly. then if you are using internal memory,format it regularly and you are using memory card also format regularly. if your problem stil remain, it is possible that your memory card is defective, buy new one,Transcend advisable.

How do I delete all images on my vivicam 7122?

Turn the camera on. It will be in the mode for taking pictures.

Press the MODE button twice. The camera is now in the mode for viewing pictures from the memory.

Press the button with the TRASH CAN symbol. It stands for Delete

You now have three (3) options:

Delete this photo
Delete all photos
Cancel

You will probably have to use the Up/Down/Left/Right keys to highlight the option you want before pressing the SET button in the centre of the navigation ring to select it.

did you try deleting the images after they where downloaded to your PC? or the problem is that you dont know how to delete images?

you can also add an extra SD card so you can hold more pictures in your binoculars..

LCD screen - "no image" reads on LCD vivitar screen

Contact Vivitar and see if they can help. There have been some problems with images on some cameras. Vivitar may fix this for you.

Been given a camera but no instructions..

How do i zoom

1. Toggle the MODE button to camera picture and press the SET button
2. Compose your image while viewing the LCD monitor
3. Press the ZOOM thumbnail button with the magnifier picture to activate the digital zoom.can zoom images up to 5 times

4 Press the shutter button to capture the ZOOMED image

Selecting the "format" option in the menu will wipe off your images. basically it reformats the memory card. I would get a card reader, if you havent done so already. I worked with a student today & for some reason we couldn't transfer images from his camera directly to computer via usb + we were getting some error messages when trying to do so. So, I ended up taking his memory card out & used a memory card reader to transfer the images to 'puter and it worked fine.
