If you have tried running the "eliminate light stripes" process in the troubleshoot print quality without success, you may want to look at the print quality sheet and do "jet substitution" on the ink nozzle numbers that aren't printing out. That will slightly slow down the printing, but will eliminate white streaks down your prints.
You are probably out of ink in one or more cartridges. You need to do a diagnostic print and take the print to the ink supply vendor to get the correct replacements.
you may try to replace your ink cartridge for a quick solution, if it still fails to print correctly, your print head nozzles may have dried up and clogged.
Inhae had similar issues, I corrected it by slowing down the print rate to 250mm per sec and also doing a calibration to the messy used if all else failed calibration wise I used textile heat transfer profile for printing on both banner and vinyl hope this helps
White lines are generally caused by clogged print nozzles. I assume that you have a printer with the print heads built into the cartridge. Are you using high quality cartridges or cheap refills? If cheap refills, try a better/different brand of cartridges and see if that helps.
I would also check the printer manufacturers website and try their recommended printer nozzle cleaning procedure.
go into the printer and do a test print. start>printer & faxes>right click on the printer in question>properties>printer preference button> test print ... try the printer's own test print. This is usually caused by a poor print head, low ink, poor cartridge or the need for calibration. Look in the maintenance tab in the printer properties for head cleaner, jet cleaner etc. This also happens with refill ink cartridges.
