Try to update the wireless card's driver to the latest version using the manufacturer's web site or windows update manager...

Enjoy!

SOURCE: We have lost our wireless

Base from the description of your problem it seems that the issue here is not with your Netopia wireless adapter but with your 2wire wireless router, because the 2wire is the one responsible to broadcast the wireless signal so your Netopia can pick it up.

So what you can do here is to reset the 2wire router by pressing the reset button of it its a small hole there , then you will need to reconfigure that and it will be better if you do that with the ATT people so they can tell you how to reconfigure the router.

My Dell Inspiron 560 suddenly stopped connecting to internet through cable-modem.

Onboard adaptor hardware failure? Or is it missing Drivers?
Wireless adaptor - did you install drivers for adaptor? Did you check that WiFi on the adaptor is switched on?

On a side note: I've found that USB 2.0 Wireless N adaptors are the best for connectivity, as they have their drivers on the adaptor, are fully plug and play (Vista/7/8 and even some models on XP). I recommend Transcend (brand name).

Apple USB Ethernet suddenly not functional with mac book air

I've run into a similar problem myself. The problem could be that there is another device in the area using the same frequency and is causing interference. Try changing the frequency on your adapter. If you've recently added a wireless device and you can't change the frequency on your adapter try changing the frequency on the new device or turning it off to test if it's the problem.
It's possible someone else in the area has added a device that's causing the problem look around for new wireless devices or antenna in the area.

I've had a Netgear WG111 usb wireless adaptor since 2007. It has suddenly stopped working. My computer cannot connect to the internet/ modem - it says no adaptor detected. Help. Can the adaptor just die?

yes they can and do I personally have had 3 or more just die, especially anything USB, they are real bad for just stopping, It is usually the USB interface and not the actual device that fails. with USB, it is usually a power spike" that kills them.

Wireless adapter has suddenly stopped working.

First unplug your adapter and boot your computer. It wouldn;t hurt to reboot it once as well. This should clear out any settings. When it has fully booted up only then insert the adapter into a different usb port. If it recognizes it and works it can indicate a usb problem.

If it finds it but doesn't connect a adapter problem. You can uninstall it and reinstall the drivers and it might work. If not replace. If it does nothing then its died on you and your adapter needs to be replaced.

Most adapters and home network units (wifi routers etc) only last for 1-2 years before they act up or die on you. Very annoying and can be expensive. I have a stack of wifi routers where the wifi isn;t reliable but the rest works. And a drawer full of various wifi adapter that are detected but not connected and a few just plain dead ones. All of them seem to fail at about the same time after purchase.

Low connection speed

I understand that you are getting low wireless speed through the adapter. I would suggest you to upgrade the drivers for the adapter. If the issue persists, then please change the channel on the wireless router.

Hope this helps.

Wireless card suddenly cannot detect any signals

I would suspect ya adapter.. the ONLY way to sort it is to try it in another PC see if it works.. USB devices seem to be very flimsy and we get heaps of 'em in the shop.. 9 times outa 10 it's the USB device gone weird.. substitution is the only way to isolate the problem.
