After working with my technolocically challenged mother on the phone for about an hour we found out that pushing the power button on the remote control and the stop button on the DVD player at the same time will unlock the DVD player. Hope this helps.
I have a Panasonic DVD-RV32 with exactly the same problem which occured after my one year old child was pushing all the button. Tried various combinations then gave up and searched the web. Found this and it solved the problem. Thanks !!!I have a Panasonic DVD-RV32 with exactly the same problem which occured after my one year old child was pushing all the button.
