The locking hinge is broke where it folds and won't stay unfolded
The hinge has plastic locking pieces that have broke off. I am looking to replace that specific part of the hinge. Right now I have it zipped tied and not able to fold it up with out cutting the tie strap off.
Re: The locking hinge is broke where it folds and won't...
Problem suggests that you have identified the defective part. Can you try extracting the part using the proper tools and taking it to the nearest hardware store which deals with the spares of this kind to pick up replacement. If you can do that it will be great else you consult a service engineer for assistance.

none that style stay locked because your fingers depress button accidentally I like a Sheffield original with the two hinged pieces that fold around blade like Lamborghini doors. The button is bad idea
I have a related question. My lower spring broke and I have the replacement spring. How do I put it into both plastic fittings at the same time. One arm on the spring goes on mullion while the other arm goes into a fitting on the door. Please help!
Sometimes a piece of fabric gets stuck or something else...It might help to push the frame a bit more together before pushing the buttons. Did you mention the buttons being numbered?Follow the number you can read. The ones you can read when it's folded are in a different order than what you can read when it's not. Normally when you follow the numbers you just have to push each button once, then pull back both handles to unfold the back. Then pull the "grip" underneath the cetral tube untill it clicks. Then straighten the hinged bar between the handles. Hope this helps!
If it's a 2 wheel scooter, there is a silver disk on the right side of the hinge. Push it in really hard. Once it's done it's easy to do again. I couldn't get it the 1st time, my husband did it for me. The disk is silver and it's solid, in the middle of black hinges. I hopethis helps!
The Tracker is designed to be folded and unfolded easily, by one person.
To unfold: If your Tracker has an adjustable handle, ensure that it is in one of the middle positions. On the central twist grip, push in the red button and turn the grip in the direction of the "FOLD" arrow. The pushchair should now begin to open. Placing your hand on the side moulding, pull on the handle until the primary locks on both the left and right hand sides engage with a click. The secondary lock should automatically engage.
To fold: First of all, make sure that the front wheels have been locked into fixed, non-steering mode. Also, ensure that the adjustable handle is in one of the middle positions. Press the red button on the twist grip and simultaneously turn it in the direction of the "FOLD" arrow. At this point, the chair should start to close. Next, look for the secondary locking device. This plastic tab should be situated just below the handle grip on the left-hand side. Pull it upwards, whilst tilting the chassis forwards and continuing the folding action until it is fully closed. Align the front wheel with your foot, if necessary, and fold down the adjustable handle to store the chassis.
There's a locking mechanism on the left hand side about mid-way down just under the armrest. You need to pull the plastic lock off of the pin and then unfold according to the "fold" instructions included in the manual.
