Question about Sony Mavica MVC-CD400 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Mavica MVC CD400 where'd the pics go?

I have had this camera for some time, just recently I took a lot of pictures that showed up on the LED screen but when I got them home and ready for download they were not there! It is sporadic and it happened again tonight. I have purchased new SONY discs, etc. If anyone has had this problem and knows of a solution, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Mac that attaches directly to the camera, so I don't ever have to finalize a disk. Thanks for the suggestion though.

The biggest cause of not being able to read the disk is it hasn't been finalized. To use them anywhere else but in the camera the disk must be finalised first before removing it from the camera. There have also been a number of faulty units which suffer from writing problems.

My sony mavica won't load on win 7 mvc-cd400

Hi,
MVC-CD400 is too old for Windows 7 operating system. This camera works only with Windows XP and Vista.
Check Sony Support after some time (months) for any driver update, if Sony release it.
Thanks.

Sony MVC-FD75

Not good, you will need a replacement floppy drive for the camera. It is a common failure point on the Mavica series. Sorry, no easy fix
