Hello sir, fuel line routing for ryobi,poulan trimmers, looking at machine from left side,front green line from tank to bottom of port on primmer bulb. rear line from tank which has filter inserted through tank with small white ring pushed up aginst tank & filter fittings, goes to port at bottom of carburetor.top line from primmer bulbgoes to top port of carburetor. that is the way thay go on.it is important to make sure you have the same fuel line I.D.3/32 and O.D.3/16 are very important! also if old line dissolved it will get in carb. and clog ports & small screen inside.clean inside of carb. with carb. cleaner & air pressure. to get your parts and numbers ,go to mtdparts.arinet.com, parts,791-683398,fuel line assembly,this is for most fuel line trimmers,any comments welcome,thank you. ``

Rob, How have you determined that there is no spark? Have you used a type of spark tester? What is the condition of the plug. Brown or dark brown is OK. Black or silver is NOT Ok.
If you do not have a spark tester, remove the plug, and with it connected to the wire, find a portion of metal around the cylinder that you can ground it on, and then pull the rope. If the plug is black, you may see spark, but you should replace the plug.
*** PLEASE NOTE ; if there is excess fuel in the cylinder or on spark plug, it can catch fire, so be carefull to cover the hole with a heavy rag so that any fuel cannot be exposed to spark plug durning test !!!!
Worth it? If you can do the work yourself, I believe you will be OK. Depending on your parts availability, and the amount of time it takes.
