Hi

Whats happening is there is some sort of problem with the lens, it could happen in many different ways such as sand or dirt in the lens gears or impact damage.

A couple solutions would be to either buy a defective camera online and make one good camera from the two if you can do that sort of thing yourself, or secondly have it repaired by somebody.

Don't bother trying to send the camera to Sony (though you can call them and verify what I'm about to say) because they will want $150+ to do the repair for you. Parts are not cheap to buy from them.

Hope this helps,

Thomas

Blurry pictures and beeping noises

It could be the lens is damaged on the inside (Gears and so).
But before you make any conclusion. try to switch the camera to auto mode and make sure the camera is not in the macro mode.
To start, switch of the camera, remove the batty and leave it out several seconds. perhaps you also should charge the battery on an external charger, but if you are sure it is charged, after a few moment reinsert the battery. Then switch the camera to the automatic mode and check if it is not in Macro. (when you see the flower on the screen it is in macro)
If it is still acting the same you made the right conclusion in the question above. (I hope you are wrong but if not, you start looking for another camera)

The hardware inside is defective. You will need to replace the camera either by warranty or buy a new one. Make sure you save your pictures!

My Olympus Camedia C-750 will not turn on. When I start it, the screen looks normal but then goes blank. it stays lighted and then beeps several times then makes a noise like a picture has been taken,...

If those batteries are definitely good then the electronics of unit have gone haywire. Contact Olympus to see if there is some sort of hidden code to reset electronics to factory defaults.

My camera keeps turning off with a full battery and makes a beeping noise

There is something obstructing the lens. Camera turns off if it can't extend and retract the lens. Turn it downward, try blowing compressed air around the lens itself, or if all else fails spraying around the base with a light dusting of CRT cleaner (90% isopropal alcohol spray)

Beeping sound when starter is turning over for the

Have u replaced the spark plugs? Is this the beeping noise you hear when you first turn your key over the same as past times you have started the motor? It just keeps going though right? I would make sure you have the right level of fluids and make sure your fuel pump works, fuel filter isn't clogged and plugs and wires are in good shape.

If that is all good then you might have a bad coil pack. Test it and make sure you are getting correct voltages, if not then replace it.

Also did you winterize your motor after the last time you used it? If not you could of cause some internal damage to the motor.

Good Luck,

Three beeps when i try to turn it on

i had the same problem a while back. I fooled around with my camera lens a bit and it turned out that one side of the lens was sticking out a bit. I pressed down on this and pushed the power button and it worked. The next time I turned it on the same thing happened but if you keep doing the same thing it should work.

Hope this helps!

Beeps 3 times

Is it an actual beep, or is it a beeping noise coming from the lens? Does the lens extend? I ask this because this is the noise the lens focus gears make when they are knocked out of alignment, or debris gets in them and jams them.

No 3 beep notification in the earpiece of an incoming call

I had the same problem and the cause was the handset lifter and not the earpiece--if the ringtone is too low at the lifter, it won't be detected and transmitted to the earpiece. Cranked up the ringtone and everything is fine.

If that doesn't take care of the problem you might look at whether or not you're using custom ringtones which might cause a problem. Switch them back to the defaults and see if the problem goes away.
