"Er Clean S" is a common error with Frigidaire which means
shorted keypad. The issue is with the touchpad/keypad that should be replaced.
However, before replacing the keypad you can unplug it and take it apart
completely and use a hair dryer to blow some warm air on the keypad assembly to
blow the moisture off. Hope this helps...please post back for further
assistance.
The ER error code means the touchpad is defective..sometimes that can be just a loose ribbon cable connection to control board. or if that seems tight the touchpad which is part of the console should be replaced
The steam has gotten into the keypad display and fried it. Call Fridgidaire and let them know you've seen numerous people on the internet with the same problem and that you need part# 154554401 It worked for me.
PF stands for power failure. the first you should do is check your house breaker and make sure that you did not trip the fuse.
Does anything run? Can you hear the motor running? If not, you have no power coming into the machine. In this case it's the main control board that needs to be replaced.
If the motor hums, it means you have power to the d/w, in that case you need to replace the touchpad.
We had the same problem with our Frigidaire dishwasher (different model though). We called them and they said the UO stands for Vent Open (the display can't make a V so it makes a U). The active vent was not closing when it should be closed (the repairman said the gasket was stuck up in the assembly so sometimes it would seal and sometimes it wouldn't) and thus the error. Since our machine was still under warranty, we had the vent replaced at no cost and haven't had the problem since.
So far so good. I fixed mine by removing the vent and even though it says no repairable parts I disassembled it then removed the rubber gasket and cleaned it with a brush under hot water. I then cleaned the plastic ring it seals against. Next I removed the spring and stretched it to make it about a quarter inch longer and then reinstalled the spring then the rubber gasket and then closed up the unit. So far it is working fine. I suspect the real problem is that there is a tiny sensor that needs to be covered when the vent is closed. If this is not covered the uo error code is generated.
