Only Sony tv remote will work here to disappear onscreen display. Have Sony tv remote and press INFO/ DISPLAY button once, on-screen display will disappear. No other remote will work for that. Thanks.
Hi, Video-2 is on-screen display. Press Display/ info button on tv remote, on-screen display will disappear. Please note that only Sony tv remote will work to cancel on-screen display. Thanks.
Most TVs have a "display" button on the remote that controls the on-screen display. Keep pressing it and the display should finally go away. Depending on the brand and model, the screen may cycle through a number of different displays first, but should finally clear.
If you can program a Comcast remote or another universal remote that has an info key, you can get rid of it. I just succeeded in programming my comcast remote thanks to Dave Taylor: http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_to_program_comcast_cable_remote_control.html
Once the remote is programmed, hit the "info" button and watch your frustration disappear!
