Question about GE EMO3000 Microwave Oven
Sounds like the units main elecrtonic control board. You can contact your local parts house for the parts as they should have them or call GE at the #b in the owners manual. I must advise you that there is a very hi voltage inside these microwaves so you must have some know how on working on large appliace and if not PLEASE seek a pro to assit you in this repair. If the microwave runs for a few seconds and then shuts off, a door switch might have failed intermittently. Check each of the door switches for any signs of overheating, arcing, or burning. Also check each of them for continuity. Replace any of the switches that is visibly damaged or that only has continuity intermittently
