Solid green screen

While watching tv, I lost the picture on direct tv. At the same time, the screen went to a solid bright green. I've checked to make sure it's not on video. There are no games connected to it. Thanks

Is the green really bright with small white lines in the screen?? If it is its probably a shorted picture tube. That is if you still have sound. If you have no sound its probably a power supply problem in the sweep section of the set. This is not a repair for a consumer to do as its a solid state set and there are no user serviceable parts inside these sets. Get a service person to assit you with this repair. Good Luck

Lg flat screen shows solid green but no picture

Theres a great possibility
that your Power supply unit has problems
Although the fact that somehow turns on
tells us that you may find some bad capacitors and maybe replacing them might fix your problem

Green screen with sound from cable, but picture is fine with Wii

That would be my solution. The trouble is either in the box or your connecting cables. Verify this by connecting the cable directly to the set. Then try a new set of connecting cables, or call the cable provider to replace the box.

Tv screen has turned blue and I can't watch tv

i think by accident you have changed the input when you went to change the volume. look for a button labeled " input" or "video" select on the remote and scroll through the various choices. you should get your picture back.
