Won't connect to any cycle

I put the machine on and it sounds like it is starting a normal cycle. Seconds later it then just switches from cycle to cycle, continuing round the dial without connecting to any.

Water starts to go in but then as soon as it starts clicking round the dial nothing else happens. It is like the machine can't decide what cycle it wants to be on. The only noise is the clicking as it ticks round the dial.

Check the water pump / filter, easily accessible from the front. I had the exact same problem and it ended up being some plastic stuck in the water filter... the outlow was backing up and caused the program to abort.

The timer is a set of an on/off switches. The switches are turned on and off by a cam, which is driven by the timer motor.
Your description shows that the problem is not with the timer motor, but with the main power supply line to its switches (that operates the valves, heater, motor etc..). Open your machine so you will have an access to the timer, look for a disconnected wire, if all wires looks fine, test with a multi-meter that it get power to 2 tags (one for the timer motor and the second for the switches). In case you will find power on both tags your problem is with the timer.
Let us know with your test results and we will do our best to support you till the final solution.
    Good luck !!

Dryer starts about 45 seconds into the cycle lights come on and then it starts beeping like the end of the cycle. 10 seconds later off. Very warm on top of the machine.

See my tip for buzzing dryer. Check Owner's manual, Troubleshooting. Sounds like air is not moveing and High temp cut off saftey switch doesn't like the lack of air flow. Duct clean? Check air flow from the outdoor vent. Clean vent tube/s

Why my washing machine will start the wash cycle but will not spin or rinse?

the drain pump is probably blocked or overheating, when it starts beeping which lights are flashing reading from right to left e.g. 1,3,5 also what is the model number?

Machine will not spin or drain water.

I have a problem with my MW512AU. Sometimes it drains after wash cycle, but sometimes it sticks when it goes to spin, doesn't get up to speed, water comes on for about 10 seconds and shuts off, and it tries to spin again. If I hit the wash progress switch it goes directly to final spin and works ok. I then have to run a 2nd wash cycle to rinse the clothes. I also noticed a buzzing sound when I turn on the power point, which lasts about 3 seconds before stopping. It will come back on every 3-4 minutes for 30 seconds. This is with the machine power switch off. It powers on normally.

Agitator no longer moving

sounds like you may have burned out the lid switch. if it is not working the timer thinks the lid is not closed and will not advance.

Top load washer when you start cycle no water and it starts to agitate does it on all cycles

Hi, It could be faulty timer, the knob you turn to select cycles(programs) or faulty water level switch, the knob or button you select the water temperature, or size of water level, it depends on brand of machine. check water level switch by lifting top of machine, you will see tub, look at back you will see a small tube coming from wiring harness, where controls are, that tube comes from switch to connection on side of tub, remove tube from tub connection, wipe it, put in your mouth and blow air into it, you should hear a click sound whenever you blow into it, sometimes could get stuck, connect tube back to tub, manually fill with water, just a little above half, then start machine from the beginning of any program, let it complete to the end, then try it normally to see if it does the same thing, if it does, you will need a mechanic to check timer and pressure switch. good luck.

Push start different sound water may start may not start pause

I would check to make sure the connectors to that door lock are all connected. If they are it's probably the lock/switch mechanism itself. Wow I just checked and they are about $120. The p/n is wh10x10006 You can google around for the best price. Good luck!

Rinsing cycle won't START

After all, I turned machine off with power switch, waited 30 seconds and turned it back on. It displayed "RINSING CYCLE" message, but this time went through regular rinsing cycle, then rinsed thoroughly (I counted several cups of water) and RETURNED TO NORMAL.

Halleluiah! Now I can get my morning coffee again!

Neptune MAH3000AWW will start to fill when start is pressed, but stops seconds later

either a faulty pressure switch / pot or faulty controller - either way you will need to call someone in.

The machine doesn't work

Is your load within capacity. See that it is. Press and hold 'spin' & 'dry' for 5 or 6 seconds to unlock controls. Try the machine on a normal cycle once, see if it works.
