Wrong sim card problem with SE P910i, not P900 but pretty similar anyway
My SE P910i keeps rejecting my sim card, "wrong sim card" message pop up on the screen everytime i turn it on. I have tried to update the firmware by using SE update service (from SE official site) but it fails to update. The phone has been unlocked twice by both hardware - superclip2 and software - Total Multiserver but still displaying wrong sim card message. I have had tried 3 other different sim cards and unfortunately no luck at all.
Please help if you know the solution, if i can get the firmware updated, that might help but i dunno why it cant get updated...
Thanks in advance
Re: Wrong sim card problem with SE P910i, not P900 but...
I don't have a solution, but my P910i did this immediately AFTER I did the firmware upgrade. The local repair shop refuses to look at it as the tag and internal IMEI numbers are different. I suspect it was repaired before and the tag not changed.
I am still working on it and will let you know. But its xmas and Australia rolls up the sidewalks shuts off the streetlights and stops.

you have entered a wrong password more than 3 times... then when you were prompted for the PUK, you again entered the wrong numbers (written on the shell of your SIM... (if you haven't thrown it away already.)) ten times
if anyone lock his sim by using wrong pin code then it wants puk code but if given wrong code for 9 times than the sim totally become rejected. then the only way is replace your sim from operator Customer Care center.
But the other facts is if in your mobile has sim ic problem then it shows such message. as a result, you have to go good technication.
sim card rejected that means sim card is not anymore. and then i can suggest you is only you buy new sim card. but your phone is safe and secure. nest time whenever you got problem of puk code then contact to your sim card service center and if your phone got locked then try my tipshttp://www.fixya.com/support/r4893613-unlock_code_nokia_phone
