Movers broke off my cable connector on the tv. The main piece was still attached to the cable plug. I can push it back in to the hole, and the cable works fine. How do I fix this without having to take it to a repair shop that wants to charge 150? My friend knows how to solder and has the stuff to do with it. Do you have step by step instructions on how to go it?
Common problem Order 215543 from a company such as Union Electronics..1-800-648-6657 Use only the orginal, the replacement melts to quicky from the heat of the solder. They don't have a minimum order. Also make sure all the tuner shield grounds are resoldered. Be careful. easy to solder short.
