Question about CTX Value VL 510 15" CRT Monitor
What your son did is change the video resolution on your video card. right click on a blank area of your desktop, this will bring up a popup menu, left click on the word "properties" in the menu. this will bring up your display settings window. click on the "settings" tab. this is where the video resolution and color parameters are set. under screen resolution, there is a slider. move the slider to the left until the resolution is either 800x600 or 1024x768, then click "apply". this will get you back to a screen resolution that most monitors are happy with. if you had a higher resolution setting before, follow the same process to increase the resolution. also there is an option that allows you to test the resolution setting, and if it doesn't work, returns windows to it's previous setting. i recommend you use that option.

Thanks unclejed but it's not the size of the icons that are the problem but that there are 3 of everything, icons, task bar, cursor etc. Not overlapping but equally divided and spaced on the monitor screen. Left, right and center. Any other thoughts? Anyone?
