I would like to know how to replace the battery in my Casio wave ceptor wvq 550. I suspect there is a way to release the battery from the watch, but it is not apparent to me.

You can get instructions from the Casio web site.

Go to the casio web site "casio.com".

Select "support" and the "manuals", watches;

Accept terms

Select "watch manual archive"

Read the number of the back of your watch and enter it into the search box

Click on "search" and the download your instructions.

If the pin keeps coming out, then it seems likely that it is bent.

This can happen if the watch is fastened very tightly and your hand bends back until it strains the pin.

I suggest that you go to a jeweler and have a new one fitted.
