SOURCE: burn cd to mp3

You will need some type of MP3 encoder. You don't state what PC you use and what operating system. I will assume Windows XP on a PC and not a Mac.

I would suggest you get MediaMonkey. IT is a very powerful, easy to use application.

The free version will do what you want, but they have a paid version with additional features.

Doesn't show mp3 files on micro sd card

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

Rio Carbon 5 g

When Microsoft initiated the DRM system, any Rio Carbon that was hooked into Windows Media Player had the previously working files invalidated. Happened to me as well. The player lasted me three years, and that is about as long as any Mp3 player is going to last we are finding out b/c of all the software snafus.
