My phone (Nokia 2610) has asked me for a PIN, then I didn't know it, after that I entered 3 wrong pass codes, and it is asking me for a PUK, I got that wrong a few times, and now it is saying that my Smartchip rejected, what do I do? I need help! I got my phone [email protected]#@!

Dear

PUK (Presonal identety unlock code) only given by ur mobile operator
there is no way to know the puk..
so call customer care by other mobile (ur friend mob) ask them ur puk they will help u..

one thing remember never try again to type unknown puk code it will lock ur SIM parmanetly

Hi, If your handset asks for PUK code, you need to contact the service provider and provide them 20 digit sim number for the PUK code . Service provider numbers will be toll free. Once you get the PUK code, enter it . And then it will ask for new PIN number, you need to enter 0000 twice. Hope I helped you. Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

or If you enter wrong password for more then 5 times,it ll ask you to enter the puk number....now call your customer care and
get the puk number...enter the puk number in the space given for password....thats it...problem is fixed
If you had locked your mobile then update the formware all saved passwords will be deleted

I would try using your last 4 # of your phone # because if you haven't put in a personnel code then it uses the last 4 #'s of your phone #.

Locked out of phone due to no "PUK" code.

Hi, I've explained it on this page basicly the puk code has noting todo with your phone, its on the sim card for protection, the pin code when entered 3 times wrong will enable the puk code and block the pin code.

you will need to get the puk code from your service provider and you will be able to change the pin code ones you have the puk.

Accidentally Locked My Phone

You can get your PUK Code from your service provider. Should be a quick call after they verify your account info. Unfortunately there is not a DEFAULT PUK Code and the service provider is the only one that can tell you what your SIM PUK was set to when the card was activated.
