I lost the installation CD and now i can print but cant scan and edit

Dear You can download the driver from the canon web site. You can print only through USB port. However if the machine has N/W card installed then you can use the color scanning facility and you have to download the scan gear software from that site.

how can i install the cd

The scan software(OCR) can only be installed using the installation cd that came with your printer. It's not available for download since it's a big file. If you have the installation cd, just insert it in your computer to install the software. If you don't have or you lost it, I advise you to contact Lexmark at 1-800-LEXMARK(1-800-539-6275). You need to have the proper software installed to be able to scan. If you have installed it, then open the program and run the scan function. If you haven't installed the software, do a Google search for your printer model. Go to the Canon website and search for the drivers and software for your model. The software on your lost CD can be downloaded form Canon. Install the software and follow the instructions.

1st do you want to scan print in one go?
If so then just use the scan button top row third from right.
If you need to scan and put into a programme to edit then various
programmes will do this.
If you have installed the CD a programme,
Then in the brother box , Brother MFL Suite, a blue box appears in the tray on the computer. open this then on custom scan follow instructions.

How can i install my canonscan 20 without the cd rom
