My Z20 got stuck in the viewfinder and it won't toggle back to the LCD. Even playback pictures are on the viewfinder. How do I get it back to LCD screen again. Normally, you can hear and feel the camera flipping a mirror? to toggle from LCD and Viewfinder. But this time it's stuck in the viewfinder position. No warrantee.
Happened to me within 5 minutes of leaving the store. Common problem the store person said and replaced it straight away.

You're not alone. It's an epidemic. With some people it lasted only about 8 flips between LCD and viewfinder. It's especialy a problem with the Z series. If you still can, send it for repair on warranty, otherwise you'll either have to live with it or find a place that can handle this repair. Good luck

My Z 20 has the same problem, but it is stuck on the LCD screen and won't switch to the viewfinder. It appears that the mirror has slid out of it's correct position, and the view is skewed. I would fix it myself, as the high cost of SONY repairs outweighs the cost of the camera, but I don't know how to remove the back of the camera.
