Hi Nenita, I own a chunglap universal remote control which is about 15 years old and the codes for lg television are 0026,0218,0711 & 0730... VCR are 0755 & 0758.... DVD is 0682... This link below is a web page on more recent chunglap codes, I hope this helps..... CHEERS..

Try the code search with your remote.
1. Turn off your device
2. Hold the button of what you want to program (TV,VCR,DVD) until the red LED light lights up
3. Press the power button
4. Keep pressing Channel up/down until the device turns on
5. Press “OK”
6. Press power and volume/channel buttons to check it

Just a suggestion,but try unplugging both TV and DVD player for ar least 15 minutes, then go back and plug in and try to turn on. IF this works then you may think about buying a univesal remote and adding both the TV and DVD player onto universal remote and should not have peoblem after that. If unplugging doesnt reset it, then I would call manufacter of TV for further instruction, cud be fuse inside of TV itself. Hope this helps and Good Luck!

Someone had posted a solution to manually program the remote. The information came from RCA website. It worked fine. I still would like the code numbers for my remote. I have a LG TV that is about a year old.
