Most of the time when theres no picture on a mitsubishi projection set, theres no verticle sweep. Most likly cause is the verticle output IC or the b+ feeding the IC or Both. This is not a consermer replaceable parts. It could also be the PIP module if the set has one . Remember these sets have alot of hi-voltage even when the sets unplugged. Good Luck

My 32" LG LCD is losing its resolution; picture washed out but sound working fine, any ideas?

Check your settings, you might just need to track and reinstall all channels again...sometimes caused by bad weather/showing
( no signal ) or you can see your manual trouble shooting guide.
Hope this tip helps.

PS32500 32" TV Problem

The sound that you hear is coming from the sound detector not working or not receiving any audio. If the set is set to a second audio (SAP) program this could be you trouble. Some programs are broadcast this way. (such as Spanish for Spanish speaking people. Check you audio program settings.

My TV pictures turns black afetr a few hours but I still can hear sound perfectly!!!

It sounds like your rptv lamp is going out. If this is an older DLP this is most likely the cause. You can get a replacement at www.laptopsforless.com part number BP96-00224J for $151. If the tv is still under warranty, I would have them do it, otherwise replace it yourself. If so here is a link to give you step by step instruction. Please give me a good rating. ;-)

Trouble!!

If you have sound and no picture you either do not have any high voltage, the CRT emitters are not powering up or there is no video drive to the crts. A long shot would be the brightness is turned down but unlikely. The most likely problem is no high voltage. Odds are the Horizontal Output Transistor is open. This is easy to check with a vom if you are familiar with TVs. If not have a professional do it. TVs are dangerous and complicated. If the HOT is open it will need to be replaced along with either/and the flyback and HV divider block. If the Horizontal Output is ok the problem could be just about anywhere. First you need to make sure that all necessary voltages are present and correct. After that you need to determine which circuit or section is not working. At this point the sound is the only thing you know works. Good Luck.
