I am not able to find a way to turn my Garmin off. How does one do that? I just unplug the little thing and let it die and when I need it again, I plug it back into the lighter.
Does someone know how you go about turning tis little thing off and on.

It's either the logic board or some component that has gone bad. No real way to repair it, unless you tear it down and it's maybe a bad joint or something simple like that.
Best I can tell you to do is to FULLY discharge the battery, as in turn it on, let it die and keep pushing the power button to make sure it's dead. Takes about 48 hours. Once you do that, plug it in and DO NOT try to turn it on, just let it do it's thing and see what happens. Maybe hooking it to a computer after that and seeing if an update will help, also make sure that if there are any cables, external antennas, or cards plugged into it, to remove them during all of that. If you left your Garmin c330 on running the battery will have 1% life left. If you turn c330 back on again, it will flash screen for 3 seconds then die, even charging it at this point will not wake it back up. TO BRING IT BACK TO LIFE... plug in the power home or car into Garmin c330. There is a tab in the front Garmin gray frame of your screen. You must take like your fingernails and under the logo "GARMIN" pull the whole gray plastic frame off. Underneath the plastic frame to the right hand side. There is a "RESET" button. Make sure power is plugged in while hitting reset. Your battery should come back to life. Cheers
Did you reset it? lift off the cover plate by slipping your fingernail into the little slot just beneath the Garmin logo. There is a reset button hidden under the cover...
I took the faceplate off very gently starting under "garmin". I plugged it into the cig lighter in my car and turned my car on. I pressed the reset button and it turned on (THANK GOD!!). I then let it charge a little.
