Picture is very dark and has a blue haze to the darker areas

Purchased the TV 5/28/06.. They next day I had them replace it because the picture was was slanted and very dark. New TV arrived 4 days later and is not tilted but is still too dark ... Scenes that are dark can barely be made out.I have adjusted the bright to max amount and sharpness and contacts nothing helps. should I send it back is there anything that i can do to fix it.. I have 10 more days to return for full refund

Theres no adjustment except the tvs On screen disply is what you should ONLY fool with. Anytime you have the option you do and your not happy with it . GO for it!!! get a full refund and start over with another one or go to another store. Good Luck

My 47" Vizio is darker on the left side. Used to be I would turn it on and once the TV was warmed up the picture would be perfect. Then one day it just stayed darker on the left. Everything else works

More than likely you have a bad LCD panel tab. The only true fix is the replace the panel. There are companies who will repair the tab but the cost of repairing the tab, and replacing the panel will exceed the cost of a new TV set. There are youtube videos of fixes but you will have to take the entire set apart.

RCA D61130 picture has a blue haze comes and goes?

The cooling fluid needs changed in the tubes and the algae wiped off the crt faces. This is not a do-it-yourself unless you're pretty darn good at fixing things.

Dlp has dark blue areas on screen

Have you tried magic focus? if that doesn't work
replace the pcb convergence board,, It costs $96 and takes 10 minutes to replace you will have to manually line up your convergence afterward as the settings go to factory default. Everyone that owns this set has or will have to replace this part within 3 years

Blue area near center of screen

Uh Oh! blue screen of death. Your light engine has warped a little from overheating and is distorting the picture.

My suggestion to you is to get on the phone with hitachi and start complaining, then keep complaining until they agree to pay for it. You may have to get the problem diagnosed by a pro before they agree to pay for it though.

Picture seems to be alot darker than before. toshiba 62hm95

I just replaced a lamp in a Sony LCD projection that was just over a year old and it was bad. It was a VERY dim picture. You have a DLP but, in either case a dim or dark picture is almost always caused by the lamp.
