HELP! Deleted the mailbox

Hi all, I have logged into the admin section on my Mitel 5312 and gone to edit a mailbox because it was locked, instead of resetting the password i have deleted the mailbox for said extension. Is there anyway to create a new mailbox for an extension? When i try to edit the extension number, or access the mailbox i get '"that mailbox number is not valid, please try again". Thank you

My assumption is that your DHCP server isn't set up properly, or that someone has connected a Router to your network.
I suggest you contact your system administrator or vendor for further assistance.

Poor sound quality

IP phones compress analog data to avoid excess bandwidth. When calls are placed long distances this becomes really noticeable.

What model of Mitel controller do you have? The 5312 works on several different controllers. Sounds like you have UDP ports blocked on you IP network. Please list your controller type and if you have a firewall/router/or layer 3 switching on your data switch.

My phone at the school that I work at is a Mitel Superset 4025, with the daylight savings time/time change. My phone for example reads: 11:20am when it is right now 12:20pm. Could you please guide me...

Your Mitel telephone gets it's time from the system, not from within the phone. The system admin or vendor will need to log into the system to make the time adjustment.
Most school districts that I have dealt with have an IT staff that has the ability to log into the phone system to make changes to things like names, extension numbers, reset mailboxes, and time change to list a few.
I am sorry that I really can't help resolve this without redirect to them.

Sincerely,
Mark

Employee forgot his password and need to change the voicemail for new employee. Is there a way to reset the phone. Phone model is a Superset 4025. My phone number to the phone is (563) 690-3230 or email...

Each mailbox password is held in the system programming of the voicemail system. You need the system admin password for voicemail. Dial the access code for voicemail, if from a phone with voicemail then press * to get to the main greeting. At the main greeting dial * then the system admin mailbox number which is 99 for 2 digit ext numbers or 999 for 3 digit ext numbers or 9999 for 4 digit ext numbers then you will be prompted for the system admin passcode(default 1234). Press 2 for add/edit/delete (Never press 1 for new installation or you could delete all current voicemail programming and messages). Press 2 to edit mailbox, you will be prompted for the mailbox to edit, enter the mailbox number. Press # to skip to the passcode reset, enter the new passcode or press * to reset to default(999) then press # for each of the remaining parameters until you are returned to the mailbox menu which prompts for press 1 to add mailbox, 2 to edit mailbox, and 3 to delete mailbox, then hangup.

Ip 5220 Mitel

You'll need to log into the voicemail server or PBX that hosts the VM and reset the passcode for each mailbox you're trying to access. If you have an embedded Mitel VM you can change the passcode by logging into the Admin mailbox then select option 2 to edit mailboxes, pick the mailbox to edit and follow the prompts until you have the option to change passcode
