Convergence problem I am having problems with a Toshiba rear projection TV the only number I can find on it is 23538076. I cannot reset the blue in the convergence screen and get blue ghosts all the time. I realise this is an old model but it still works well

There are 2 large IC's in your set and one of them has burned out. These are called convergence output IC's and are usually the STK392-010's. A good idea would be to go ahead and replace both with the newer, upgraded STK392-150 IC's. A good tech can change those IC's in about an hour and a half, and when I do a housecall for a set like that I charge $150, but shops in your area will vary so be sure to ask around.

You will need to replace the convergence ICs. You can order them at this link and they provide free support as well as installation instructions with pics so you can do the repairs yourself. You will need to replace both convergence ICs
