My mp3 fell in water and now it will play everything and the menu is the same but the screen is blank so i can only use it by memory of how to get to all thw functions. is there any way back?
If you're planning to fix it, you should do it ASAP because water damage can deteriorate. You're lucky that it works at all... Basicaly it's a matter of drying the insides, and getting rid of any residue besides the H2O - salts, sugars, minerals, and other chemicals. It can also be that the water short circuited the part that goes to the display, and you need to replace something in there. You're lucky with this player, aren't you? ;] Good luck
