The light comes on, the timer works, but the microwave doesn't work - i.e. turntable doesn't turn, doesn't heat, no noise from microwave.
If still under warranty or if you have no electronic repair experience you should take the set back to the shop or to a repair person. Some of the solutions described below can be dangerous, TV's are very hazardous to service. Even when plugged out, TV's can store very high voltages. If you hear an unusual buzzing noise, the magnetron (the component that actually generates the microwaves) or other electronic module may be broken. If you hear nothing, you might have a defective transistor on the main printed circuit board. This is not easily fixed; contact a service technician. You can try the "find a microwave repair..." link from the product page. Good luck!

Sorry, I put the wrong warning there. Basically the same - WARNING: Microwave ovens are the most dangerous consumer appliance to
service due to up to 5,000 V at high current inside. Even with the
power off, there is a HV capacitor that can produce quite a lethal kick. This capacitor must be discharged before touching anything in the microwave generator circuitry.
DON'T remove the cover yourself unless you fully undertand the SAFETY issues involved in working inside a microwave oven. A microwave oven is possibly THE MOST DANGEROUS common consumer product to service.
