Just press and hold the lock button down until there's a slider that says "slide to turn off" (or similar). this will force your ipod to reboot. Once it shuts down, push and hold the lock button again until you see the apple logo. that should fix it.

I have a IPOD nano MC526LL that keeps playing the same song or podcast over and over. This is something new. can you help??

Sounds like you've accidentally touched the repeat button.

1. Play the song.

2. On the Now Playing screen, you will see play and volume controls (bottom of the screen).

Under the album title is a scrubbing bar that indicates the time remaining of the song.

3. A small icon that looks like two circular arrows is on the left side below the scrubbing bar.

Tap this icon once to repeat the album. The icon will turn blue when repeat is activated.

4. Tap the icon again to repeat the current track. The icon will change to show the number 1 inside a blue circle.

5. Tap the icon a third time to turn off repeat. The icon will turn white when it's deactivated.

Very low volume on a brand new ipod touch what should i do to fix this problem

Turn on Ipod, on the left hand side there is a volume control switch. While you are on a song, hold the top of the volume control switch to increase the volume.
If that does not work then touch "settings", then touch "music" and make sure your "Volume Limit" is set to "Off", if it is not touch "Volume Limit" and set it to "Off".
