I have a Rio Cali 128 MB mp3 player. Up until a few days ago, it was working just fine. The battery died and I put a new one in. I don't know if that's what started the problem, but now I can't transfer files to it. When I use Windows media player, it comes up with errors (code C0049019) The computer recognizes the device is connected. When I try with Rio Music Manager, it seems like bits of info are being sent to the player, but I just keep getting all kinds of errors. I only have 89.10 MB of free space, so something has to be getting transferred, right? When I disconnect the player and try to play music, it says 'no tracks' I am so frustrated. I clicked on the web help button in media player, but it says "You've encountered error message C0049019 while using Windows Media Player. Additional information is not currently available for this error." I have looked everywhere online...please help

I have a transfer problem too. When I plug my USB cable to the computer my Cali screen goes black and then soon turns off and the only way to start it up again is to unplug it, pull the battery out and power it up. I liked it up til now.Yes,

I love my Rio Cali, but it's been acting up for awhile and now it doesn't work. I'm switching it back and forth between two PCs and the exact same problems come up. Using the Rio Music Manager, I have no problem deleting songs off the Cali, but when I try to add music, I get a message saying "your player is no longer connected". But even in the music manager it is still showing as connected. Also, on one of my machines, it shows up as an external drive, but not on the other. I've tried to format the player, but I got a "format on this device failed" message. I've downloaded software, drivers and firmware, but the problem persists. Please help!
