Help please last time i used my vivicam 5340 digital camera it worked fine. i have been trying to turn it on for the last couple of days and wierd stuff has been happening.the welcome screen comes on when i press the power button.I see the battery symbol comes on and then it goes off.i have been trying it now for a while and the same thing happens each time. i recharged the batery and tried again to put it on. that didn't work. I placed it on external power, that didn't work either(i took out the battery).When i tried to access the pictures from the camera by connecting the docking station to my laptop, i was able to view the pictures.i turned it on sometime ago and the lcd screen was slightly illuminated after the camera went off. i had to remove the battery to make the screen go off.

It sounds like you tried all there is to try. Have you taken the batteries out for long enough for the camera to reset? Have you tried an altrenate good mem card? If yes to both then I can't see what else you can do on your own. Get a repair estimate and hope for the best. I suggest you add this post to the previous one you made, as a comment. With all the information in one post, someone might come along with a better 2nd opinion. Good luck
