Hello I found the following info about the default settings on your router (you can reset your settings to the default ones by pressing the reset button on your router or the back of your router device):

WRT310N Default Password & Other Default Login Data Version Default Username Default Password Default IP Privileges All [none] admin 192.168.1.1 Administrator

    default uname is blank (you dont type anything in the text box)
    default pass is admin
    default webaccess IP address of the router is 192.168.1.1

3 failed attempts to connect HP DV6t laptop
First as a test, turn off the wireless security, and see if the laptop can connect.

If it can connect with security turned off, then it is likely that you are making some type of mistake with the password. (Such as caps lock being on, or having a keyboard error.)

How do I find my Wifi Linksis WRT310N password on my Vista?
try to reset your router:
You may reset to the default settings of the bridge by pressing and holding the reset button on the back panel of
the Bridge for 10 seconds. After that, you need to re-run the setup wizard to configure it again.

How do I see the password on my router wireless n gigabit router wrt310n. I would like to change it also
There is probably a small reset button on the fron or back of the unit. You will need to press and hold it for about 10 seconds with a pen or small screwdriver. That will erase the password and set it back to factory defaults. Then you can go into the configuration page and create a new password.

I can only connect thru my router when hardline connected. Cannot connect thru wireless. wrt310n router
On the computer wired to the router.

1. Open an internet explorer browser
2. Go to 192.168.1.1
3. Leave the user blank then "admin" for password unless you changed it.
4. Go to the wireless tab Check the wireless settings If the Wireless network name is Linksys change it.
Cilck save settings.
Go to the subtab wireless security.
Change the security to WPA Personal
then for passphrase put in a password 8 chars or more.
Click save settings.
5. On your computer use the wireless connection to connect to your network name then enter your password

If that does not work or if you have difficulty with the directions just call linksys support 8003267114
