That lens error msg means that you need to send it in. There is no resetting that you can do to fix that.
Call the repairs center at 800-706-2534 and then keep choosing option 1. Tell them what's going on and that you would like to send it in for repairs. If they ask just lie and tell them you already talked to tech support. LOL

Switch to the macro mode to take pictures of subjects closer than about 20 inches. See full details in the "Using the Macro Mode" section on page 86 of the manual.
No, it is not caused by settings. Probably CCD sensor is bad. !!! Check if there is possibility of free of charge repair !!! Many models are repaired free with CCD broken, even warranty time is passed.
I have a casio exilim ex-z60 which I bought 2 yrs ago. I've had problems with my flash going off each time I turned on and off the camera, about 5 months ago. Now the flash does not work. Need help on how to restore the flash bulb or battery in the camera.
This is the lens focus gears. They are either knocked out of alignment, or debris has jammed them. The good news is it can be fixed....Casio most likely won't help. Hint...google my user name.
the same thing happened to me. I took my camera apart - just removing the case. I then operated my camera and it became "unstuck". now it works just fine. I put the case back on and all is just as before.
