Following a move, washer now makes a loud clicking/thumping noise during the rinse cycle and in the first part of spin cycle. It is worse with a heavier load...but now it won't even spin out a small load. We didn't know about shipping rod, and are wondering if this is related to our problem after moving the washer. Please help. Repairman said it needs a new $200 motor...but why would it work in wash cycle and end of spin, but not in rinse cycle? Confused. Thanks for any advice.
It doesn't look like a motor problem !!! It seems like an unbalanced tub issue. The machin has suspension dampers and suspension rods, and it's look like one of them was damaged or "run away" from its location during machin's movement. Goog luck !!
