I had the exact same problem. basically (sounds a bit weird) but it happens if you drop your fone and the only way to let people hear you again is by dropping it again! so whenever you drop your phone you have to drop it again to fix it.

My phone has lost its sound and when someone rings it will only vibrate then when i answer, i can hear them but they cant hear me, I have checked and it is not on silent.

First make sure the phone is not on silent,
Try changing the ringtone, go into phone->options->sounds, make sure type is set to ring, if so select a different ring tone.

All settings are correct however when I call someone I can't hear them but they can hear me. Also it doesn't ring when someone calls me even though setting is for melody.

Its not a setting, sounds like your phones has a bad speaker that is why the other party can hear you but you cant hear them or hear the phone ring.

Hi, the ringer of the phone that makes you hear when someone calls is faulty and needs to be replaced for you to be able to hear it ring when someone calls you.

its ur earpiece prblm ur mic is good ur frnds can hear u but u cant so go to a mobile repair shop u will get ur work done he will ask a small amountmay be 50 to 100 rs...

No sound

I'm having the same problem. However, I have discovered that it is something to do with the upper slide part of the phone. For some reason, if you push the slide down just a bit when you're trying to play music the sound comes on. Not sure how to fix this problem other than scrap the phone.

try turning the volum up and while talking to someone scroll down to the option where it says speaker and select that one

We cant hear the phone ring in our office now!

Call your phone from another phone. Don't answer it. Press you volume up/down button. Up makes the ring louder and down makes the ring softer. I bet someone turned you ring volume down. Once it is set it stays there. God Bless. Jerry
