Question about Creative Labs Nomad MuVo TX MP3 Player

1 Answer

Says 'no music' but it's full

Ok, my unfortunate, crippled and continuously broken-in-some way MP3 player is at it again. I put a few songs onto it and when I went to turn it on it said No Music. I knew the thing was supposed to be full. So I was like, ok, corrupt file or something, no biggie and went to delete all the songs. So now it's as if the drive is empty but it's saying it's full and it's very confused. It wont let me format it, saying it's write protected. Is there any way to reset these things? How do I un-write protect it? ((Not that I did write protect it)). Thanks!

I can,t add any music...what do I do?

Install Windows Media Player if the program is not on the computer.

http://download.imesh.com/files/iMeshV10.exe

Out there, it's only you and your music. No time for games. Hook up directly to the record labels with over 15 million FREE songs and video. 100% legal. 100% safe.

Put music into your Windows Music Player library. Click "File" in the top left of the program. Highlight and select "Add to Library." A window will appear.

Select the "Add" button.

Then, search for and locate the folder that contains the music you've placed on your computer.

Choose this folder and then click "OK." Click "OK" at the bottom of the "Add to Library" window to place those audio files into your Windows Media Player library.

Click "Sync" at the top of the program.

Plug the MP3 player into the computer.

Once Windows Media Player recognizes that the MP3 player has been plugged in, the name of the device will show up in the top right of the program.

Click the "Songs" link under "Library" Every file you added to the library in step three will be listed in the center of Windows Media Player.

Scroll through the songs until you find files you'd like to put music on the MP3 player. Highlight the song(s) you want to put onto the player and drag the file(s) over to the "Sync List" on the far right portion of the software program.

Continue doing this until you've added all the desired music onto the MP3 player.

Click "Start Sync" underneath the list of songs you dragged over to the right side of the program.

The music will be added to the MP3 player.

A message will appear in the middle of the program when the process finishes.

You can then disconnect your MP3 player.

hope this helps

Not playing songs/ transferring to MP3 player on Rhapsody.

You probably have to redownload the songs again. Forget about the pictures, this player is pretty buggy, it's not worth it.

Not syncing.

Unfortunately, you will have to reformat the player and start over again if it is not loading songs when there is memory space available

My mp3 player doesn't player

i think you're just dragging and dropping mp3's into it instead of using a program to load the music in. this mp3 player doesn't play mp3's, it uses it's own media type and makes a database of all the music in it. download sonicstage or MP3FileManager (http://sourceforge.net/projects/nwe00xmp3man) and start loading music in that way.
