Question about Whirlpool 24 in. DU1055XTP Built-in Dishwasher
Sounds like a heater circuit problem, wire disconnected or faulty heater drive circuit. Not sure how to check to see which one it could be, maybe a process of elimination.
Open the rear panel and check with a multi-meter if the heater get power (as per program's sequence). In case it get power and doesn't heat - you should replace the heater. In case it doesn't get power : - Check for a disconnected wire. - Check that the water level switch work properly. - Check the thermistor. If the level switch or the thermistor are defective,it will prevent power to the Timer. Defective part should be replaced. In case they are OK, the problem is with the timer. Good luck !!
