I have downloaded a couple of mp3 albums to my LG Shine, but it will only play one song at a time and I have to press the button to go to the next song. Is there a way to make it play one song after the other without having to keep pressing the button.

Make sure that the mp3's that you upload in the phone are in the correct folder, moreover make sure that the folder itself is named correctly otherwise the phone won't recognize it and might just ignore.

How do I put songs in playlist on my Coby MP620 MP3 player

The Coby is weird, but I found a way to create playlists. It might not be the "real" way, but it works :)
Before I plug the mp3 in my computer I create folders containing the songs I want for each play list. For example I'd create one folder labeled "work out" for songs I want to listen to while working out, and another folder labeled "sleep" for songs to listen to while sleeping, or you could label them based on artists or genre or etc. Then I would copy the songs I want in each playlist into their respective folders.
Next, I plug my coby into my computer, and open it's folder. (should be in computers, and have a icon with a C on it). I'd copy (or click and drag into the coby folder) my play list folders (the ones I labeled work out and sleep). Then eject and remove my mp3.
If you do this, when you turn on your mp3 you should select Music. Then select Broswer (on the bottom). Select the first row, which has the symbol "\" [underneath this is all your songs] and you'll see the names of your play list folders (they'll be below ROOT, MAC OS X Coby Me, and PHOTOS) . If you select your play list name you'll see and be able to play the songs under that playlist.

Samsung YP-U3 mp3 - Can't get my songs to play in certain order

I've never seen a MP3 player that you can select the order in which multiple songs are played, unless you do it manually or only have the song you want to play on it.
I think your efforts will be in vane.  Sorry

Unable to play playlists on my Hitachi MP3

You can try dragging the playlist into the folder that you open up when you connect the player and then you want to drag and drop music. Then drag the folder and drop into the music folder which means you are copying from the player to another folder on the player. This manages to solve the problem of the player re-arranging files alphabetically and may help your playlist issues.

Probelm with playlists

The Vista compatible software may work different, but I have mine set to Repeat OFF, and I have no problem with playlist play. Is it possible that the songs that you put on your playlist are in the wrong format? If they were streaming files, or DRM-encrypted WMA's, there may be issues with playback. Convert the songs in your playlists to mp3 format ON THE COMPUTER, and then delete the playlists that are not working OFF YOUR SANSA. And then re-add the playlists to your Sansa.

Make this thing play the songs in the order they are on the CD

you can do one of two things. rename the songs with starting with 1, 2, 3, etc. Or make playlists and use them. The playlists play in the order the song is added to it.
