Power I have run across this problem 3 times, and solved it the first 2 times by luck, but can't solve it this time. The problem is that when I turn off the power, the picture goes off, but the power light doesn't. It is happening no matter which input I am using, antenna or vid 1 through 5. How can I reset the power so it will go all the way off?

What did you do to solve the problem the first two times as you stated? ok if the light isent going off when the set is that just means that the main relay or power may not be shutting down but the microprocessor is or could even be visa Versa?? Im not there to see the set. Its not a user serviceable thing that you as a consumer can service unless youve had exstinsive training in consumer electronic stuff.. These things are not for the handi-person to tinker with as first off they are expensive pieces of equipment. second is that they do have very very high voltages inside them even when they are unplugged and off for a long time. to service this set your gonna need the experience as well as a service manual and also some special equipment to work on these sets.. The manufacturer as well as the UL peeps state that there are no user serviceable parts inside this type of set.. Sorry but your gonna have to seek a pro to assit ya. Good luck.
