If you tryed a universal remote , that remote should have at least worked the volume and the channels selector. It could be whats called a remote sensor assy thats mounted up toward the front of the set on the inside between the buttons. Its not really a user changeable part as there is soldering involved to replace the sensor. Realisticly, the correct way to trouble-shoot this set is to look at the data or logic line coming out of the remote sensor with an osilliscope to see the data and if it goes all the way to the microprocessor IC. If it does and no remote operation happens then the Micro's bad. Theres way to much Hi-voltage in these sets for a handi-person to tinker with, and its advised that a tech take a look at this set for you . Sorry I couldnbt be of more assistance. Good Luck

My 32 inch Ecco tv remote doesn't respond to the needs, the red light isn't showing ,by using manual pressing the stand by button only the green light emerges

  1. Check the batteries: Make sure the batteries in the remote are properly inserted and have enough charge. If the batteries are low, replace them with new ones.
  2. Clean the remote: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the remote and remove any dirt or debris that may be interfering with the signal.
  3. Reset the remote: Sometimes resetting the remote can help. Remove the batteries from the remote, press and hold any button for 15 seconds, then replace the batteries and try again.
  4. Try a universal remote: If the above steps do not work, you can try using a universal remote to control your TV.
If the issue persists and the TV does not respond to any remote, it is possible that the remote sensor on the TV is defective

My samsung 3D led multisystem smart TV remote control does not work anymore

It needs to be Re-Paired to the TV.

First, fresh batteries, and clean battery contacts if needed.

Then, Try Pairing procedure:
  1. TV off
  2. Bring remote within 3 feet of TV
  3. Push Pairing button (Paper Clip or other pointed object in button hole)
  4. Turn on TV
  5. Should be paired. Try remote channel or other buttons.
  6. If not, try 2 more times.
  7. If still not working, push RESET button first and repeat Pairing.

Samsung remotes for LED / LCD TVs are generally RF, not IR.
Most Universal remotes do not generate RF signals, so disregard advice about codes for Universals.

Universal remote not transmitting

Universal Remotes are so inexpensive that you are better off getting a new one than to try and spend the time to fix the remote. But here is some things to consider.... Did it STOP working when the batteries went dead? Have you put in the NEW CODES (normally on the Back of the Remote) to communicate with your equipment? Have you set up the Remote yet? You can not SEE Infared, how do you know it is not sending out a Signal?

Start by removing the Batteries and replacing them with new ones (unless you can measure the output of the Batteries with a Multi-meter). They should be close to 1.4 volts. Because a light comes on does not mean it is strong enough to operate the TV or other equipment.

I have a UMC TV /DVD Combi the remote control i got with it no longer turns the TV on or off, so i bought a universal remote and it cant seem to find the code for the remote so i was wondering would anyone...

First of all, did you put new batteries in the remote control?
That usually solves the problem, because when the batteries get weak
the output infrared signal also gets weak.
With a new universal remote control, there is a booklet containing the
codes to use for many different TV receivers. If your specific TV model
is not listed, try using one that appears to be similar to it. If that does
not work, try turning your TV on with the new universal remote. If you
can turn it on, then you may be able to have the universal remote
program itself by interacting with your TV. Turn it on and hold the
remote so that it points to the TV set and hold it there for about 30
seconds. Then try turning the TV off and on again and try to use
the channel change feature. Try this a few times to give the TV and
the remote a chance to talk to each other. Keep the remote pointed
toward the TV.

I JUST PUT BATTERIES IN THE REMOTE AND IT WILL NOT RECIEVE THE ORDER FROM THE RMOTE WHAT SHOULD I DO THE T.V. BRAND IS ESA

To troubleshoot the remote control problem, follow this step. 1. Check the battery (new if possible) 2. Get a ordinary radio then scan the radio to no signal frequency...just a buzz song will be okay. 3. Try to point your remote control in front of your radio, then press any keys (numbers or anything) 4. If you heard some sound to the radio while pressing the keys 4.a Your remote control is working fine. 5. If you did not heard anything while pressing the keys 5.a Your remote control is not working. You need to replace it or just buy a universal remote control (cheapest way to do).
Thanks. Hope this helps.

When I try to change the channel, the "TV" button blinks, yet the channel doesn't change.. What do I do?

Hi,

This is usually due to low batteries, The remote is sending a signal and the TV is receiving it, but the flash pattern from the remote isn't being recognised by the TV. Try replacing the batteries and post back.

42-inch Protron LCD TV Remote Doesn't Work nor Does a Universal Remote Replacement

Your problem is not with the remote but rather the circuitry designed to respond to the signals transmitted by the remote(s)

Find out what board has the circuitry that responds to the remote signals and replace that board. Got a better idea?.
If very expensive then you have 2 choices - deal with a remote less set or get a new one.
