One of the leds that light up the screen (found around the edges of the tv) in a corner of my tv has gone out. At first it went out, came back and kinda had issues. Now it is completely out and the corner of my LED is dark. Any ideas how to fix this?

I had that happen to my tv and took it to be repaired and it was the power pack where it attaches to the tv it just like snaps on and will arch and burn the power pack and it wont power on so the repair guy charged me $89 parts and labor he put one in but sodered it so it will not draw moisture and arch and it works great now....

This sounds like a series of LED's are not performing properly and may indicate a faulty set. I would recommend returning for a replacement.

Depending on the model you have you might need ether the inverter board or you might actually need the power board. You are likely to find both these parts at www.shopjimmy.com or by emailing [email protected], you should always have a certified technician fix your TV but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to change ether of these boards.

It really sounds like you are having the problem with the main board which get the control signals from the remote and side buttons and it is not processing those signals right now. You should inspect the main board voltages which you will need service manual to do that.
