It will be labeled as such. Premium problems are very much the minority of posts on FixYa.

You can log in and go to this page to find unsolved premiums.

Also, check the FAQ here. The Premium program is covered.

Access Code for krystel tv

See all FAQs
Question
All channels are locked with a prompt for ACCESS CODE on the TV screen.
Answer
When CHLID LOCK option LOCK ALL is turned on, the television will prompt for ACCESS CODE for all the channels when it is turned on, then enter the access code using the ‘0-9’ buttons.

If you have forgotten the access code, enter the universal code 0711 twice, ignore the message INCORRECT on the screen after the first attempt, then enter an easily remembered new four-digit code and enter the new code the second time to confirm it.https://www.fixya.com/answer/thread?thid=29754604#

Am I a FixYa subscriber

Hi colleenmcgui. Right now, you are a registered free user. What we call "subscribers" are actually customers who pay a recurring monthly charge in order to ask Premium (paid) questions. You have posted your question (http://www.fixya.com/support/t6500293-microsoft_isatap_adaptors_1_2_3_4_failed) for free. If an Expert responds, you will be notified through the site, as well as via email. If you have any questions about your account, feel free to contact our Support Team by emailing [email protected].

Do i have to pay to ask my question

Hi stwrtsmtty2,

You do not have to pay to ask a question on FixYa unless you want to purchase Premium Assistance (fast answers from our top Experts) or Live Chat (immediate interaction with one of our top Experts).

If you just want to post a question in our free forum, go ahead and enter your question in the box on our homepage, then click "Ask Now".

On the next page you will enter the subject of your problem and select the relevant product. Then click "Post Problem".

On the page after that, you can either select a Premium Service, or you can click "No Thanks" to post your problem for free.

Best wishes and thanks for using FixYa!

Denon 2106 Protect Mode (Update)

Yes, I am in Texas, just moved there from Michigan. Got away from the cold just in time. It's beautiful in Colorado, but just too cold for me.

I had no idea you had paid for a premium service. You contacted me thru the free forum. If you would like for me to get the payment for the premium service, you could contact fixya thru this email ( [email protected] ) and tell her (Lauren) how you did not get the information you needed from the premium question you asked and would like that credit to go to me. She will know what to do about it. I really don't know how you would go about it. As it stands right now, you will end up paying whoever answered you first unless you gave somebody a FixYa! rating and accepted the solution. Unless you request a refund. Which is what you may need to do. I hate to see some other person get paid for my knowledge. This has happened to me on many occasions. I get contacted thru the free forum to solve a problem they have paid somebody else for. I don't spend a whole lot of time on the site, since almost everything I do on this site is free help.

In the premium questions you should not give anyone anything but a "Thanks for Trying" unless you are satisfied you have received the help you have paid for. I never seen a link to the premium question you paid for, so I never got a chance to answer you there. I am sure that some of the answers you were getting there were very amusing, to say the least. As I told you in my last post, I really am an expert in these receivers and I don't believe there is another expert here with the experience actually repairing them as I have. There is a decent bunch of folks working here, but many are not really the experts they claim to be. It can be a pretty frustrating activity using the premium service because there are so many so called "Experts" that are only in this for the money and try to answer questions they know nothing about. I hope it was not as bad for you as I have seen in many other cases.

Thanks,

Dave (tech48)
