I bought a Panasonic es4815 shaver for my Dad 1-2 years ago, and he said the blades are getting rough. It cannot do a clean shave and will leave red bumps on his cheeks. Back then I think I got the shaver around $25. Now I'm thinking to get a replacement blade or the foil too? What is the foil for anyway? I don't know how to tell when to get replacement parts for the shaver. I actually like this shaver cuz it uses 2 AA batteries instead of built-in ones. I looked through Amazon.com and it no longer sell this model but the replacement parts. The replacement blades would cost $13 and the blades & foil would cost $25. I also read the reviews of other shavers, but seems like a lot of them won't last. I'm hoping to either get replacement parts or get a new double-blade shaver, what do you think?

Hello MrandMrsInger! You can purchase a new replacement foil for your Braun 370 at the link I've provided below. Basically, you'll be getting a new cutter block and foil for it, as the foils are no longer provided separately.
Braun, now owned by Gillette, discovered that many folks would buy just the new screen (foil) and it would get torn/damaged by a nick in the cutter block blades, so they packaged these wear items as a set to eliminate those very common problems. I had it happen to mine several years ago, so I know why they made the change.

There are two screws on the back just under where the cutter fits on. Remve shaver head then remove screws and you can then gently pry the front and back apart from the top.
