My wireless printer hp deskjet 3050 is not printing the wireless blue light keeps blinking and does not go solid like it used to what do i do?

if the wireless blue light is blinking, it means it's not connected to the router or it's not communicating with it.If wireless blue light is solid ,it means it's connected to the network.
you will need to reconnect the printer to the network by using a USB cable.it will configure the wireless connection.
  1. to start the installation ,click on the start button on the computer
  2. click on programs or all programs depending on the operating system on the computer
  3. look for the HP folder and then left-click on it
  4. inside the HP folder,left-click on DESKJET 3050a or DESKJET 3050 series
  5. inside the DESKJET 3050 folder, left-click on product setup and software
  6. left-click on connect a new printer
  7. it will open up a page with options on how to connect the printer
  8. select wireless and then hit next
  9. if you are prompted to connect the usb ,please connect it
  10. if it asks you whether printer is connected to the network, select no
  11. click on next
  12. if usb is already plugged in,tick the box that says it's already plugged in
  13. hit next
  14. wait for the prompt to unplug the cable
  15. try printing wirelessly
let me know if these steps do not solve your problem.

Edimax br6204wg wan led doesn't light up and there is no internet connection

Hi yaminmagdi,

I believe that you are trying to get connected wireless using your Edimax Router, we may need to check some settings in your Edimax regarding the wan light not lit up and could be a possible reason why there is no internet connection.

1. First we will need to find an Ethernet cable for us to be able to connect your Laptop directly to your Edimax Router for us to be able to check and change any settings needed to enable your Edimax wireless connection. also make sure that the Ethernet cable is connected to the Ethernet ports behind the Router not the WAN port then the other end goes directly to your Router.

2. Once connected directly to your router from the Laptop open IE or any Browsers on your Laptop, in the Address bar type in 192.168.2.1 then press Enter this will prompt for a user name and password, User Name will be ' admin ' and the password should be 1234 unless you changed it.

3. Inside the Edimax setting page click on the Tab that says Wireless, check and see if the wireless is enabled if not then enable it or turn it on, after enabling / turning the Route ON save the settings by clicking on Apply or Save then it will prompt that the Router is restarting it will be 30 seconds to apply once the 30 seconds is up that should be done check your Edimax if the WAN light is already lit up, then you can try an connect Wireless from your Laptop.

I hope this helps.

Have a nice day.

Blinking orange light where tghe wifi is

The light indicates that the printer's trying to connect to a wireless network. If the blinking wifi light has been going on for quite some time now but connection is still not going through, you will need to reset the printer's wireless network adapter. To reset the network adapter on Lexmark X6570, press Settings button > Network Setup > Wireless Setup > Reset Network Adapter to Factory Defaults. The wifi light will momentarily turn off then on and should be solid orange then. Try to reconnect the printer for wireless connection.

I have a lexmark x6570 all in one printer. I recently restored my pc and I unistalled my printer. Then I reinstalled it again. Now the WIFI light is blinking orange.

If the printer is blinking with a orange lights means that the printer is not connected to your wireless network. Some possible solutions:

Check the wireless connections (If you've restored your computer you have to set the wireless connections again)
Check the access point
Move your computer or printer to reach the access point
Try adjusting the antennas
Make sure the Key Web keys are correct.

Another blinking situations (not wireless related)

If the printer is blinking in a slow mode, then the printer is in a sleep mode.

Do this:

1) Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet
2) Wait 10 seconds and plug the cable again
3) Press the power button to turn on your printer

This must be fixing the problem
