It sometimes gets stuck... but usually I just let it run out of batteries and then charge it back up, and it works just fine again, but once I turned it off and tried to turn it back on yesterday... it was stuck on the "Rio" screen right before it went to a word "upgrader" in the middle left of the screen... and it's stuck like that. no matter what buttons I push. When I tried to plug it into the computer to see what it would do, it read it as a disk, and then I troubleshooted it, because it said it couldn't recognize the hardware and it said "insert disk into drive F;" or something like that... help???
But how can u upgrade if it dosent connect to your pc? mine does not connect to pc now

Have you upgraded the software if not try that. Check your battery voltage if it reads around the 2. something voltage then you need to get that battery to its orginal capacity. I dont think you'll get your songs back. Does it have a reset button if so reset it.

By the way... it says:
"Please insert a disk into drive J:."
Ok, I found the problem... but is there any way that I could save all my information?
Most of the songs on there I can't find anywhere else =(
it says I have to "purge" the system... but that means... the I'll lose all 300 songs...
