SOURCE: how to convert mov to

Xilisoft has a great suite you can use for conversion. Check it out.
The shareware version is free if you are converting files less than 5 minutes long.
I use it all the time and its the best. If over 5 minutes then you have to
register it. there are lots of conversion programs out there.
If you can't locate it just let me know and i will send you a link

Windows media player won't play my videos because the extention "mov".

Try VLC Media Player, which is free software that is compatible with many different types of videos. The link to download VLC can be found here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/.

For some reason, my video is a .mov file and when I try and import it into Windows Media Player to rotate my video, it says that file type is not supported. What can I do?

First of all, you can't rotate a video without some expensive software installed on your computer and even then, the results will be poor at best. Download Quicktime from Apple to play your video...it's a free download.

VIDEO FILES OF CANON SX10 IS NOT PLAYING IN WMP

H264 is a "mov." file. Windows media player11 and Power DVD 9 do not support this type of file. If you don't like QuickTime, there are many free media players that will support it (VLC is a good one). You could convert the mov. file to an avi. file with a video converter program. Then your avi. format movie will play in WMP
